- 1 recipe Mushroom Stuffing (follows)
- 12 (3 x 5 x 1/4-inch thick) pieces round steak
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 c. flour
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 2/3 c. chopped celery
- 1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
- 2 c. beef broth
- 1 c. sour cream
Directions

1Prepare mushroom stuffing.

2Pound round steak very thin with a meat mallet.

3Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

4Place 2 tablespoons stuffing on each piece.

5Roll as for jelly roll; tie with butcher's string.

6Coat with flour.

7Brown several at a time on all sides in margarine in a Dutch oven for 5 to 7 minutes.
