- 2 c. uncooked rice
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 onion, chopped
- 1/4 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 tsp. red tomato soup powder
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- about 2 c. water
Directions

1Slightly brown rice with margarine, onion, pepper, and soup powder.

2When browned, quickly add tomato sauce and water.

3let come to a rolling boil.

4Then steam on low to med. heat for about 1/2 an hour.
