- 1 c. hot mashed potatoes
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1 cake or pkg. yeast
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. warm potato water
Directions

1Add sugar, salt and oleo to hot potatoes.

2When warm, add yeast, eggs and potato water. Stir in flour to make stiff dough. Knead well until smooth.

3Put in greased bowl and let rise until double in bulk.

4Punch down and put in refrigerator until chilled (may be kept in refrigerator for several days). Butter Pyrex or aluminum pans well.

5Cover bottom with 1/3-inch brown sugar. Add enough water to make sugar wet.

6Sprinkle with nuts. Roll dough about 1/2-inch thick.

7Brush with butter. Sprinkle with mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Roll like jelly roll.

8Cut in 1/2-inch circles.

9Place cut side down in sugar and let rise double in size.

10Bake at 350°.

11Invert pan on plate while hot or it will stick.
