  • 2 large nectarines, peeled and sliced in 1/4-inch segments
  • 2 tsp. ginger preserves
  • 1/8 tsp. fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 Tbsp. Mandarin Napoleon or Grand Marnier liqueur
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. peanut oil

    Mix the first 5 ingredients.

    In a cup, mix the liqueur and water.

    Heat oil to the smoking point in a wok, add the fruit mixture and stir-fry for 2 minutes.

    Pour into a bowl; stir in the liqueur mixture.

    Serve hot as a dessert or as a side dish for fish, pork, poultry or curry.
