- 1 1/2 to 2 c. shrimp, chicken, pork or beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. mushrooms, sliced
- 1 c. cabbage, chopped
- 1 c. broccoli, chopped
- 1/2 c. sliced carrots
- 1 green pepper, sliced
- 1 small tomato, chopped
- 1/2 c. Chinese pea pods (optional)
- 2 to 3 c. cooked rice
Directions

1Brown meat in 2 to 3 tablespoons of oil in large, deep skillet; drain.

2Add vegetables of your choice with 1/4 cup water to meat.

3Cook until tender, stirring to keep vegetables from scorching.

4Serve on top of cooked rice.

5Season with soy sauce.
