Strawberry Cream Puffs

  • 48 each Prepared cream puffs
  • 1 bag JELL-O Strawberry Whip N Chill Mousse
  • 1 qt. cold water
  • 1-1/4 gal. strawberries, divided
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup sugar

Directions

    Cut tops from cream puffs; set aside.

    Prepare mousse mix with cold water as directed on package; set aside.

    Mash 24 of the berries (or 6 of the berries for trial recipe) with fork.

    Stir in vanilla.

    Fold into mousse.

    Chop half of the remaining strawberries; fold into mousse.

    Place remaining strawberries in food processor or blender container.

    Add sugar; cover.

    Process until pureed; set aside.

    Spoon about 1/3 cup of the mousse mixture into each cream puff; cover with top of cream puff.

    Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

    Drizzle with 1 Tbsp.
