  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry flavor gelatin
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 3/4 c. light corn syrup
  • 2 egg whites (unbeaten)
  • 1/2 c. flaked or shredded coconut

Directions

    Combine sugar, corn syrup and water in heavy saucepan.
  2. 2
    Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  3. 3
    Reduce heat and continue cooking, stirring only occasionally, to hard ball stage (252°), without stirring.
