  • 2 sheets frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 punnet strawberries, cut into halves Safeway 1 lb For $3.99 thru 02/09
  • 250g block PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup caster sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon orange rind Safeway 1 lb For $0.79 thru 02/09
  • 1 Tbsp. orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon brandy
  • Glaze
  • 1/4 cup strawberry jam
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon brandy

Directions

    Draw or trace two heart shapes one within the other, the outer heart approximately 1cm wide onto baking paper.

    Cut out the two heart shapes.

    Using the templates as a guide cut out four of each heart shape from each sheet of puff pastry.

    Place the puff pastry hearts onto a greased oven tray and bake in a preheated oven at 200C for 10-12 minutes.

    Combine Philly*, sour cream, caster sugar, orange rind and juice and brandy in a bowl, and stir until smooth.

    TO SERVE: Spoon 2-3 tablespoons of orange cream into the centre of each serving plate.

    Place the frame shaped heart on top then lay the solid heart half inside.

    Dust with icing sugar.

    Decorate with strawberry halves.

    Spoon a little of the strawberry glaze onto each plate.
