- 1 qt. ripe strawberries, mashed
- 4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 box Sure Jell pectin
Directions

1Measure 2 cups mashed strawberries into large bowl.

2Then stir in sugar and let stand for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then mix water and pectin in small saucepan.

3Bring to boil on high heat, stirring constantly.

4Continue boiling and stirring for 1 minute.

5Stir into fruit mixture and keep stirring for 3 minutes or until sugar is completely dissolved.

6Then fill plastic freezer containers and let stand at room temperature for 24 hours.

7Then place in freezer.

8Makes about 6 cups of jam.
