  • 1 c. chopped strawberries
  • 3 to 4 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 to 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 to 2 c. oleo
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. Cool Whip
  • 1 c. nuts

    Combine strawberries and 1/4 cup of the sugar.

    Mix and let stand.

    Mix dry ingredients; add oleo, eggs and strawberry mixture.

    Fold in Cool Whip, then nuts.

    Pour into loaf pan (greased and floured).

    Bake at 350° for about 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.
