  • 1 pkg. (3 oz.) JELL-O Strawberry Flavor Gelatin
  • 1 cup oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • zest from 1 orange
  • 1-1/2 cups finely chopped strawberries, divided Safeway 1 lb For $3.99 thru 02/09
  • 1-1/2 cups milk, divided
  • 1 pkg. (3.4 oz.) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed

Directions

    Heat oven to 350 degrees F.

    Beat cake mix, dry gelatin mix, oil, eggs, granulated sugar, flour, orange zest, and 1/2 cup each strawberries and milk in large bowl with mixer until blended.

    Pour into 3 greased and floured (8-inch) round pans.

    Bake 22 to 23 min.

    or until toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean.

    Cool cakes in pans 10 min.

    Remove to wire racks; cool completely.

    Beat pudding mix, powdered sugar and remaining milk in large bowl with whisk 2 min.

    Gently stir in COOL WHIP and remaining strawberries.
