  • 1 c. water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 6 tsp. cornstarch
  • few drops red food coloring
  • 1 pkg. strawberry gelatin
  • 1 qt. fresh strawberries, hulled, rinsed and drained
  • 1 carton frozen whipped topping or 1 c. whipping cream

Directions

    Combine the water, sugar and cornstarch and cook until thick and clear.

    Add food coloring and 4 tablespoons of dry gelatin. Cool.
