Strawberry Pie

Directions

   Combine sugar, cornstarch, flour and salt.

   Gradually stir in milk.

   Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.

   Lower heat, cook and stir until thick.

   Stir a little of the hot mixture into egg. Return to remaining hot mixture.

   Bring to a boil, cool then chill.

   Fold in whipped cream and vanilla. Pour into pastry shell.
