  • 1 pie shell, baked
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • strawberry gelatin (3 oz.)
  • 1 pt. strawberry halves
  • red food coloring
  • 1 pt. whipped cream

Directions

    Combine sugar, cornstarch and water.

    Cook on stove until clear.

    Add a few drops of food coloring while mixture is cooking. Dissolve Jell-O in mixture.

    Arrange strawberries in pie shell. Pour mixture over strawberries.

    Chill 2 to 3 hours.

    Top with whipped cream you've prebeaten and sweetened.
