  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 pkg. Jell-O brand strawberry Jell-O
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 pie shell (do not use deep-dish crust)
  • fresh strawberries (about 1 to 1 1/2 c.)
  • Cool Whip

Directions

    Bake pie shell and cool. Slice fresh strawberries in crust. Mix sugar, water and cornstarch and cook until clear. Take off heat and add Jell-O. Let cool. Pour over berries in pie shell. Refrigerate and garnish with Cool Whip when serving.
