Strawberry Pie

Directions

   Thin cream cheese with a little milk and spread it on the pie shell.

   Cover with layer of nicest berries (whole or halved if very large).

   Mash remaining berries and cook with sugar and cornstarch until mixture is clear and thickened.

   Let cool.

   Pour over berries in pie shell.

   Top with whipped cream (sweetened with small amount of sugar).

   Chill several hours.
