  • 6 cups strawberries, sliced Safeway 1 lb For $3.99 thru 02/09
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 pkg. (10 oz.) prepared reduced-fat pound cake, cut into 12 slices
  • 1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP FREE Whipped Topping, thawed

    Toss strawberries with sugar; let stand 10 min.

    or until sugar is dissolved.

    Cut each cake slice horizontally in half.

    Place 1 cake piece on each of 12 dessert plates.

    Spoon about 1/4 cup strawberries over each cake piece; top with 2 Tbsp.

    COOL WHIP.

    Repeat layers.
