Ingredients
- 2 lb. any style string beans
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1/8 c. dry oregano
- 1/8 c. olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, crushed
- grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tsp. dry basil
- 1 tsp. crushed black peppercorns
- 1 tsp. green peppercorns, crushed
- 1 tsp. white peppercorns, crushed
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Cook string beans as desired (boil, steam, microwave, etc.); set aside.

2In a large saucepan over low heat, heat butter and oil.

3Add the crushed garlic and peppercorns.

4Add remaining ingredients except the cheese.

5Mix well and heat until it just begins to bubble.

6Remove from heat.

7Add beans, mixing thoroughly.

8Place on a warm serving dish.

9Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the string beans and serve.
