  • 4 large artichokes
  • 1 c. Italian bread crumbs
  • 1 handful Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • olive oil

Directions

    Prepare artichokes by cutting off stems even with base.

    Peel stems and set aside.

    Snap off the small lower leaves and discard. Snip off thorns.

    Take each artichoke and bang on edge of a counter to open leaves.
