Stuffed Cabbage Leaves

Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp. onion, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. parsley, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. green pepper, chopped
- 1/4 tsp. thyme
- 1/2 clove garlic, pressed
- 3 c. brown rice, cooked
- 1 c. wild rice, cooked
- 8 large cabbage leaves
- 1 1/2 c. tomato sauce
Directions

1Wash and blanch cabbage leaves.

2Drain and dry.

3Saute onion, parsley, green pepper, thyme and garlic.

4Toss brown rice, wild rice and sauteed vegetables together.

5Divide into 8 equal portions and fill each cabbage leaf.

6Wrap leaf around and fasten with a toothpick.

7Place, seam side down, in a nonstick casserole.

8Top with tomato sauce.

9Bake, covered, at 350° for 45 minutes.

10Yields 4 servings.
