Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

  • 1 head Green Cabbage
  • 1 pound Lean Ground Beef
  • 1 cup Cooked White Rice
  • 1 whole Egg, Beaten
  • 1/4 cups Milk
  • 1/4 cups Onion, Minced
  • 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 3/4 teaspoons White Pepper
  • 1 can (28 Oz. Size) Crushed Tomatoes
  • 1 can Petite Diced Tomatoes, 28 Ounce Can
  • 4 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 3 teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    Core the head of cabbage.

    Place it in a microwave safe bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and microwave for 3 to 6 minutes so the leaves are soft.

    In a bowl mix together ground beef, cooked rice, beaten egg, milk, onion, garlic salt, salt, and white pepper.

    Place 1/4 cup of the meat mixture in center of cabbage leaf and roll up, tucking in the ends.

    Place rolls seam side down in a 9x13 pan.

    You should have between 12 and 15.

    When the leaves start to get small I will use two leaves at a time.

    In another bowl mix the remaining ingredients and pour as much as you can over the rolls and filling up the pan.

    This will produce a lot of sauce.
