Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

- 1 lb. ground veal
- 1 lb. ground pork
- 3 c. cooked rice
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 head cabbage
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 2 c. tomato juice, heated
Directions

1Combine veal, pork, rice, sugar, onion, salt and pepper. Separate leaves of cabbage and wilt them by placing in boiling water for a few minutes.

2Drain leaves thoroughly.

3Place about 1/2 cup of the mixture on each cabbage leaf and roll up securely. Place rolls in a baking pan.

4Dot each with butter.

5Pour tomato juice over the rolls.

6Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

7Serves 6.
