Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

- 8 large cabbage leaves
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. cooked rice
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 can tomato soup
Directions

1Cook cabbage in salted, boiling water a few minutes to soften leaves.

2Drain on paper towels.

3Combine beef, rice, onion, egg, salt and pepper.

4Add can of tomato sauce.

5Divide mixture into 8 portions and roll in cabbage leaves.

6Secure with toothpicks. Place in large skillet.

7Pour tomato soup over rolls.

8Cover and simmer for 40 minutes, spooning mixture over.
