- 6 large onions
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. soft bread crumbs
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1/4 c. ground beef
- 2 c. soft bread crumbs

- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. marjoram
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil

Directions

1Cut off root ends of onions.

2Peel, rinse and cut off 1/2-inch slice from top of each.

3Put onions in boiling salted water to cover in a large saucepan. Cook 10 to 15 minutes or until onions are slightly tender. Drain well and cool.
