- 6 medium green peppers
- salt
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/3 c. chopped onion
- dash of pepper
- 1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. uncooked long-grain rice
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 4 oz. sharp process American cheese, shredded (1 c.)
Directions

1Cut off tops of green peppers; remove seeds and membranes. Precook green pepper cups in boiling salted water for about 5 minutes; drain.

2(For crisp peppers, omit precooking.)

3Sprinkle inside of cups generously with salt.
