- 6 medium green peppers
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1/3 c. chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. fat
- 2 c. stewed tomatoes
- 3/4 c. precooked rice
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce (optional)
- 1 c. shredded cheese
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Cut off tops of peppers; remove seeds and membrane.

2Precook pepper cups in boiling, salted water for 5 minutes, then drain. Sprinkle inside of cups with salt.

3Brown meat and onion in fat. Add tomatoes, rice, Worcestershire sauce and salt and pepper. Cover and simmer until rice is almost tender, about 5 minutes. Add cheese.
