- 3 medium green peppers
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 cans stewed tomatoes
- 1 c. fresh bread crumbs
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- shredded cheese
Directions

1Remove seeds from pepper; parboil 10 minutes and drain.

2Brown meat; drain.

3Add 1 can tomatoes, bread crumbs and seasoning; mix well.

4Stuff peppers with mixture.

5Place in baking dish.

6Blend cornstarch with second can of tomatoes.

7Cook, stirring, until thickened.

8Pour over peppers.

9Bake at 350° for 25 minutes or until tender.
