  • 1 1/2 c. bread crumbs or cooked rice
  • 3 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 c. whole kernel corn (optional)
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 4 to 6 peppers

Directions

    Fry ground beef.

    Cut tops off peppers and remove insides. Place peppers in boiling water to parboil (2 minutes).

    Drain and cool.

    Mix ground beef with first 5 ingredients.

    Mix well and fill pepper cavities.

    Bake 15 minutes at 350°.

    Place 1/2 c. boiling water in bottom of pan while peppers are cooking.
