- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 tsp. parsley flakes
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 egg
- 1/4 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 c. coarse dry bread crumbs or crackers
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. water
- 4 peppers, seeded and stemmed
Directions

1Mix all ingredients, except peppers.

2Cook peppers in boiling water for 5 minutes.

3Stuff loosely with mixture.

4Stand upright in baking dish.

5Pour remaining tomato sauce and water over peppers.

6Bake, uncovered, for 45 minutes.

7Uncover and bake 15 minutes more.
