- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 2 c. croutons
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 medium green peppers
Directions

1Cook and stir celery in butter until tender.

2Stir in croutons, cheese and salt.

3Cut thin slice from stem end of the green peppers.

4Remove seeds and membranes.

5Wash inside and outside.

6Place each pepper on piece of double thickness heavy-duty aluminum foil.

7Fill peppers with cheese stuffing (above).

8Wrap securely in foil.

9Cook directly on medium coals for 15 to 20 minutes, turning once, or on grill 3 to 4 inches from hot coals for 30 to 40 minutes, turning once.

10Makes 4 servings.
