  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. oatmeal
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. sage
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/4 c. catsup
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 5 medium bell peppers

Directions

    Combine eggs and milk; stir in crumbs, onions, salt, sage and 1/8 teaspoon pepper.

    Add beef; mix well.

    Stuff bell peppers. Put in a deep baking dish.

    Add 1/8 cup water to bottom of dish. Seal with foil; bake at 350° for 50 minutes.
