- 6 medium green peppers
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/3 c. chopped onions
- 1 (16 oz.) can cut up tomatoes
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. cooked rice
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 4 oz. (1 c.) sharp cheese
Directions

1Cut off tops of green peppers and remove seeds.

2Precook peppers in boiling salt water for 5 minutes.

3Drain.

4(For crisp peppers, omit boiling.)

5Sprinkle inside of peppers with a little salt.

6Brown meat with onion.

7Add 1/2 teaspoon salt and dash of pepper.

8Stir in tomatoes, rice, 1/2 cup water and Worcestershire sauce.

9Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
