- rice (read directions on box)
- bell peppers (red and yellow)
- 1 1/2 lb. ground meat
- 1 large can crushed tomatoes
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1/2 c. diced onion
- 1 Tbsp. garlic powder or salt

Directions

1Cut small portion off tops of peppers.

2Drop in boiling water; cook for 5 minutes.

3Discard stems and seeds.

4Take leftover parts of tops and dice.

5Cook in hot oil with diced onion.

6Cook until softened.

7Add ground meat and cook until browned.

8Cook rice according to directions.

9Add to meat mixture.

10Add spices and tomatoes plus tomato sauce.

11Mix well.

12Place well drained peppers in baking dish.

13Stuff with tomato and meat mixture.

14Place extra over and around peppers.

15Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
