- 6 green peppers
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. rice (instant)
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 4 oz. American cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Clean and cut tops off of green peppers.

2Cook for 5 minutes in boiling water.

3Cook ground meat and onion until browned. Drain grease.

4Salt and pepper to taste.

5Add tomatoes, water, rice and Worcestershire sauce.

6Cover and simmer until rice is tender (15 minutes).

7Stir in American cheese.

8Stuff meat mixture into peppers and stand up in baking dish.

9Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.
