Stuffed Red Peppers

  • 3 red peppers, cut in half and remove seeds
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 7 to 10 slices bread (use to make fresh bread crumbs)
  • 1/2 c. Romano cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • tomato sauce

Directions

    Mix eggs, oil and milk.

    Add Romano cheese and minced garlic. Add to bread crumbs and mix all together.

    Stuff each pepper half. Put into lightly oiled baking dish and bake at 375° for 45 minutes, covered; then uncover and add tomato sauce on top of each pepper and bake for 10 to 15 minutes more, uncovered.
