- 2 acorn squash
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 2 c. applesauce
- nutmeg
Directions

1Wash squash well.

2Cut through the middle.

3Scoop out pulp. Trim bottom of each cup just enough so that it will set upright. Melt margarine.

4Coat inside of squash with it.

5Add applesauce and sprinkle with nutmeg.

6Place in baking dish and cover.

7Bake at 350° for 30 to 45 minutes until squash is tender.

8Serves 4 people.
