- 2 acorn squash
- 1 c. white sauce (made with milk)
- thyme
- basil
- 1 small clove garlic
- 1 Tbsp. minced onion (or more)
- Tabasco
- 2 tsp. Dijon mustard to taste
- ham, diced
Directions

1Cook halved squash in pan with 1/2-inch water in bottom at 350° for 45 minutes.

2Make up white sauce.

3Season with thyme and basil to taste.

4Add garlic, onion, dash of Tabasco and mustard.

5Stir sauce to combine, then add ham.

6Spoon creamed ham into squash halves.

7Return to oven until heated through.

8Serves 3 to 4.
