Stuffed Whole Wheat Shells

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 medium onion
  • 25 to 30 whole wheat shells
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 can chopped olives, drained
  • 1 1/2 c. raw wheat germ
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 to 2/3 lb. grated cheese (Cheddar and Monterey Jack)
  • 2 slices whole grain bread, crumbled or 1 slice bread and 1/3 c. bran

    Parboil shells for 8 minutes, then stuff with beef mixture and put in lightly greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
