  • 2 small acorn squash (14 to 16 oz. each)
  • 1 1/2 c. cooking apple, chopped
  • 1/4 c. celery, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. walnuts, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • salt

Directions

    Cut squash in half lengthwise; remove seeds.

    Place squash halves, cut side down, in a shallow baking dish.

    Bake in a 350° oven for 40 to 45 minutes, or until almost tender.
