  • 1 1/2 loaves bread
  • 1 onion
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

    Saute onion and celery.

    Add to bread and seasonings.

    Add half of soup and water mixture.

    Make into balls and bake 30 minutes, covered, at 350°. Add rest of soup mixture.

    Bake, uncovered, 10 more minutes.

    Cooking time: 40 minutes.
