  • 3 slightly beaten eggs
  • 1 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 c. white Karo
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter or oleo
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. pecans, chopped
  • 1 (9-inch) pie shell

Directions

    Combine eggs, sugar, Karo, butter, vanilla and salt.

    Put pecans in bottom of pie shell and pour mixture over them.

    Bake 10 minutes at 400°, then at 325° until knife inserted in center comes out clean (about 35 to 40 minutes).
