- 2 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1/2 c. parsley flakes
- 1 Tbsp. sage
- 1 tsp. thyme leaves
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
- 16 oz. dry bread cubes (about 6 c.)
- 1 egg
- 2 c. chicken broth
Directions

1Melt butter in large skillet over medium heat.

2Add onion and saute 8 minutes.

3Add next 6 ingredients and cook 5 minutes.

4Toss with bread cubes.

5Beat egg with chicken broth and mix into bread cubes.

6Shape into 2-inch balls and place on 2 greased cookie sheets.

7Bake, uncovered, in a 375 oven for 20 minutes.

8Makes about 26 to 30 balls.

9Freeze well also.
