- 2 c. pecans, halved
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 10 Tbsp. orange juice and grated orange rind
Directions

1Toast pecans lightly in oven.

2Cook as a syrup: sugar, orange juice, orange rind and salt.

3Cook at 238° to soft ball stage. Stir well.

4Then add nuts, taking care not to break.

5Stir until syrup begins to sugar.

6Lift out pieces, one at a time.

7Place on waxed paper.
