- 1 cup Unsalted Butter, Room Temperature
- 2 cups Granulated Sugar
- 4 whole Large Eggs
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- 5 cups All-purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Baking Soda
- 3 cups Frosting (any, Add More If You Like)
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a 10x15 baking pan (or smaller for thicker bars).

2In the mixing bowl of a stand mixer, with the paddle attachment, cream butter and sugar on medium high speed until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at at time, beating on medium speed, mixing well after each addition. Add vanilla extract.

3In a separate bowl, blend flour, salt and baking soda well. Slowly add flour mixture to butter mixture on low speed, blending well after each addition.

4Spread cookie dough evenly onto prepared baking pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until tester inserted into center comes out clean. Cool in pan completely.

5Remove from pan and frost as desired. Cut and serve!
