Sugar Sour Cream Nuts

  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. dairy sour cream
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/2 c. nut halves
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    In a heavy saucepan, mix sugar, sour cream and salt.

    Bring to a boil, stirring constantly to 236°.

    Beat until mixture begins to thicken and loses its gloss.

    Add nuts and stir quickly to coat all sides.

    Turn out onto greased cookie sheet and separate nuts with 2 forks.
