- 1 lb. thinly sliced round steak
- 2 Tbsp. salad oil
- 1 1/2 c. sliced celery
- 1 medium green pepper, sliced
- 1 1/2 c. sliced fresh mushrooms or 6 oz. can, drained
- 1/2 c. sliced green onion (1-inch slices)
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed beef broth
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/4 c. water
- 4 c. hot cooked rice
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Directions

1Brown meat in salad oil.

2Add vegetables, beef broth and soy sauce.

3Cover; cook over low heat for 10 minutes or until vegetables are just tender.

4Stir often.

5Combine water and cornstarch.

6Add to meat mixture.

7Stir until thickened.

8Serve over hot rice.
