- 1 lb. flip or chip steak
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. celery, cut in 1-inch strips
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 c. water
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 large can mixed Chinese vegetables
- 1/2 c. mushrooms, sliced (optional)
Directions

1Cut steak into thin strips, approximately one-inch long and saute along with onion and celery in the butter.

2Add mushrooms and vegetables, soy sauce and water to mixture.

3Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.

4Serve over rice or dried Chinese noodles.

5Season with salt and pepper.
