- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 can asparagus soup or 1/2 c. sour cream
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 4 c. sliced squash
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 small green pepper, chopped
- 1/4 c. water
- shredded Cheddar cheese
- bread crumbs
Directions

1Cook squash, green pepper and onion in water and butter just until tender.

2Combine with seasonings and soup; stir gently. Place in a 1 1/2-quart baking dish.

3Top with shredded Cheddar cheese and bread crumbs.

4Bake at 350° until bubbly and top is brown.
