- 2 fresh ears of corn
- 2 c. lima beans
- 1/3 c. lean salt pork or bacon
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. half and half
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Cut enough corn to measure 2 cups.

2Mix beans, salt pork and onion in 3-quart saucepan.

3Add enough water to cover.

4Heat to boiling; reduce heat.

5Cover and simmer 20 to 25 minutes or until beans are tender.

6Stir in corn. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer about 5 or 10 minutes or until corn is tender. Drain.

7Stir in half and half, salt and pepper.

8Heat stirring constantly, just until heated through.
