- 800 to 1000 grams Beef thigh (block)
- 400 ml Soy sauce
- 400 ml Japanese dashi stock
- 400 ml Sake
- 1 Salt, pepper, vegetable oil
Directions

1Align the beef in a microwave-safe dish, making sure they don't overlap.

2Heat for 1 minute at 500W.

3Rub in salt and pepper (I used coarsely ground black pepper).

4Heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in a pan.

5Turn the meat over when browned.

6Cover the pan and cook for 5 minutes (over low heat).

7Add all condiments in a pot, and bring to a boil.

8Add the meat, then turn the heat off immediately.

9Set aside to cool down.

10Slice thinly, dish it up, and serve.

11Pour the sauce into a small dish and serve with the meat.
